Package: linux
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Recently, support for a new network device type "netkit" was added.
Support must be explicitley enabled in the kernel with the config key
CONFIG_NETKIT=m

https://www.kernelconfig.io/config_netkit

Please enable this new device type in the kernel config.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Tobias Böhm

I have made a MR for discussion in the kernel-team on enabling the
device:
