Package: src:linux Version: 5.10.205-2 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: benjamin.moody@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, When I shut the machine down, it hits what looks like a kernel panic. This happens with linux-image-5.10.0-26-amd64 (5.10.197-1). It does not happen with linux-image-5.10.0-27-amd64 (5.10.205-2). The messages scroll by very quickly, and the machine shuts off immediately afterwards, so I can't read the messages and I have no idea what they say. Nothing is logged in /var/log/kern.log, /var/log/debug, /var/log/messages, /var/log/syslog, or /var/log/daemon.log. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot would be welcome. Hardware is a Thinkpad Helix 2nd generation. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 5.10.0-27-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc-10 (Debian 10.2.1-6) 10.2.1 20210110, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.35.2) #1 SMP Debian 5.10.205-2 (2023-12-31) ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-5.10.0-27-amd64 root=UUID=b5d1c7d2-b38b-475e-a0c8-5715770117e1 ro acpi.ec_no_wakeup=1 intel_iommu=off quiet ** Tainted: I (2048) * workaround for bug in platform firmware applied ** Kernel log: [ 18.756638] intel_rapl_common: Found RAPL domain package [ 18.756640] intel_rapl_common: Found RAPL domain core [ 18.756642] intel_rapl_common: Found RAPL domain uncore [ 18.756643] intel_rapl_common: Found RAPL domain dram [ 18.780473] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0: Detected Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 7265, REV=0x210 [ 18.796156] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0: Applying debug destination EXTERNAL_DRAM [ 18.796925] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0: Allocated 0x00400000 bytes for firmware monitor.
