Hi I found the following in the journal, a tuner timeout. As I said, with kernel linux-image-5.16.0-6-amd64 everything works. With linux-image-5.17.0-1-amd64 it doesn't work anymore, not a single program. I have found the problem. For some reason, part of the firmware with Debian 5.17 is not loaded during boot. Manually loading the firmware fixes the problem and everything works again. I have absolutely no idea why. IIUC if you *only* change to the siduction kernel (i.e. everything else is exactly the same, especially the firmware files), then the firmware loads normally? If I did understand correctly, can you then ask the siduction (kernel) people what's the most likely change they did to their kernel compared to Debian's?
