Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

After I install nonfree firmware I notice that firmware missing warnings
appeared (for intel iwlwifi). I search the missing firmwares and find them in
Linux kernel firmware tree.

As these missing firmwares aims to provide basic functionality for hardwares, I
think it's important to keep this package in pace with linux kernel nonfree
firmware collections, or at least At least not too far behind the upstream.

Please consider to make an update to this package and its binaries. Thank you.

I support this request. It's way too much work to get debian testing/unstable
working on new Hardware, since way too many firmwares are missing.
Took me forever to get the installer find at least the wifi firmware.
