Hi,

I'm running a AMD Ryzen 3 4300U with Radeon Graphics system and found
myself suddenly unable to boot linux-image-5.16.0-1-amd64 until a point
where I could log in. (linux-image-5.15.0-3-amd64 and previous versions
all had worked fine.)

After reading your link

just removed the iwlwifi.ko module and it boots just fine now.

Alright thank you for confirming that. Would it be possible that you
as well build the kernel with
https://git.kernel.org/linus/bea2662e7818e15d7607d17d57912ac984275d94
applied on top to see if this resolved the issue?
