This also occurs using linux-image-5.15.0-2-amd64 and linux-image-5.16.0-rc8-amd64.

I have reproduced the issue on upstream source, identified the commit causing the regression, and submitted the bug upstream: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1856
