Package: firmware-atheros
Severity: wishlist
thanks

The spiffy new Dell XPS 13 9310 is shipping, but is not sold as supporting
linux yet -- but appears to work great, with the exception of the Qualcomm
Technologies 802.11ax chipset.

In addition to #97994's CONFIG_ATH11K kernel change, Vincent pointed out
firmware-atheros will also need an update to enable the ath11k driver.

I read an older article that said it wasn't released yet -- not sure if
upstream has cut a release, but I'd love to have working WiFi when it does
get pushed up.

Thank you very much!
  Paul

After running a "make install" in git with the 5.10.0-trunk-amd64 kernel, I
can confirm the WiFi card is working on the new Dell XPS 13.

Thanks again for maintaining this package!
