Package: linux-image-amd64 Version: 5.8.10-1~bpo10+1 Severity: important Version 5.8.10-1~bpo10+1 contains a critical bug that completely freezes the system with a very basic LibreOffice usage. This is apparently fixed here : https://www.mail-archive.com/nouveau@lists.freedesktop.org/msg36460.html This patch appears in debian linux 5.9.9-1, so we are just waiting for a backport in buster-backports to confirm the fix. Can you fetch the package from testing to confirm it fixes the issue you are seeing so we can adjust the bug metadata accordingly? Regards, Salvatore

But then your and the referenced issue should be two different issues? The nouveau issue you referenced was only fixed in 5.9.9-1, did you had any further information relating it to it? Happy to close it with 5.9.6-1~bpo10+1 but noticed that discrepancy. Regards, Salvatore
