Package: linux-image-armmp Version: 5.7.10-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Please take a look to Merge Request https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/-/merge_requests/254 On iMX6Q boards, when probing cpufreq, it tries to read efuse settings, however, as NVMEM_IMX_OCOTP is not enabled this can't be done. In this situation the probe fails with -EPROBE_DEFER, and cpufreq is not available. To avoid all the mentioned issues, while these issues are fixed in the upstream kernel (patch already sent), enable NVMEM_IMX_OCOTP as builtin driver. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers eoan-updates APT policy: (500, 'eoan-updates'), (500, 'eoan-security'), (500, 'eoan'), (100, 'eoan-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.3.0-64-generic (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
