I've tried to solve the problem by trial and error using the suggestion
from

https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=310542

but after

dkms install rtl8723de/5.1.1.8_21285.20171026_COEX20170111-1414

Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 4.19.0-10-amd64 (x86_64)

Best regards

Janusz
