installed are: - firmware-linux-free 3.4 (there is a newer version in testing: 20200122-1) - firmware-linux 20190717-2~bpo10+1 - firmware-linux-nonfree 20190717-2~bpo10+1 I realized the missing firmware is available at git.kernel.org. Are these included already in the free package in testing? If so, are there any plans to backport them (I am running on stable and would rather wait for that)? Would it harm to fetch just this package from testing (I presume no)?
