-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Package: linux-image-5.7.0-rc5-amd64-unsigned Version: 5.7~rc5-1~exp1 That kernel has dropped to the experimental repo a few hours ago, so I installed it, regenerated the initrd, and copied them to the ESP, and added an entry for it. When booting the kernel, the screen blinked for a moment and booted the next entry, which basically means that the EFI stub in the new kernel does not work. The previous version, 5.6.0-1, still boots fine. The motherboard is an ASRock B450M Pro4 on the latest firmware if that matters. Linux is the only OS installed and Safe Boot is disabled. I cannot provide any log files since the UEFI itself does not provide any. -- Please limit your reply to 7-bit ASCII. I refuse to see your idiotic emoji in a TTY. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: ProtonMail wsBcBAEBCAAGBQJeuoV5AAoJEIJMNe5OCOiSC3cH/jDhurswbIxKeF4n2q2q VivhbqThi/PBftaf8ESTZEyFY67tEDDU1wvq+z0Josbl4nwUBjo6kfF2l/m6 3d9zamEiJ434MdBtkgNRhVZZbr/FP5DoKbZGF9HQUsBTrE1mX8LPmIaErT1R 8Kegklm/Ruc3janU/Bct/+sF75/99abFcCwO3VDtBfEmt0D00WHZDAqjnE9Z GITXYXwElK9f/rIY+u21icBS37ioeCVX4QpVBwtmR7RMqgkJOuXD96yoIb/A lftDc2uWjPiZ85EgbQj6ioFPadQKxZt9CoMLNO2E+OIK0wnusgHv07hUzs97 LVBy6Fjx0Ex0ct3bsE6YE0w= =j4Lp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 It turns out that in the new version I have to use backslashes instead of forward slashes in the kernel command line. e. g. "initrd=\EFI\EFISTUB\INITRD.IMG" instead of "initrd=/EFI/EFISTUB/INITRD.IMG" Forward slashes work in the previous version, but not on this one. Please close this bug. I apologize for the inconvenience. -- Please limit your reply to 7-bit ASCII.
