Same problem on my computer

 kmod -V
kmod version 26
+XZ -ZLIB +LIBCRYPTO -EXPERIMENTAL

uname -ar
5.4.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.4.8-1 (2020-01-05) x86_64 GNU/Linux
