Hello, I have an equivalent problem with "5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64" [drm:amdgpu_pci_probe [amdgpu]] *ERROR* amdgpu requires firmware installed I have both "4.19.0-6-amd64" installed and "5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64" I checked the content of "/boot/initrd.img-5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64" which is the file used by grub according to /boot/grub/grub.cfg. Please find it attached # lsinitramfs /boot/initrd.img-5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64 | grep amdgpu > lsinitramfs.out.txt The firmware files are there, but - on 4.19 they are in folder usr/lib/firmware/amdgpu/ - on 5.3 they are in folder usr/lib/firmware/5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64/amdgpu/ Could that difference in location be the cause ? How to get it working ? Regards
