Package: linux-image-4.18.0-1-cloud-amd64 Version: 4.18.8-1 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Control: affects -1 cloud.debian.org The cloud variant of the kernel packages does not currently enable CONFIG_ENA_ETHERNET, meaning it is not able to drive the network hardware on modern AWS instances. A patch for enabling this is attached. I have tested it with the linux sources from stretch-backports on an AWS m5d instance and confirmed that the ENA driver is properly enabled and functional.
