A number of Debian users reported that Debian stretch doesn't boot on
their QNAP TS-x09 whereas jessie works fine, e.g.

Debian user "Mopox" just sent me a log which I forwarded upstream.
(Unfortunately before I filed this bug... I'll update this bug later.)
