I have recompiled the kernel with modifed settings: In the debian/config/config I have changed: from CONFIG_USBIP_VHCI_NR_HCS=8 to CONFIG_USBIP_VHCI_NR_HCS=4 After installing the modified kernel I was able to get my remote device attached and it worked correctly. Probably the problem could be also solved by increasing the MAXNPORT from 128 to 240 or even to 256 in tools/usb/usbip/libsrc/vhci_driver.h (modifying the kernel sources instead of the Debian configuration), but I have not verified yet if that approach works. -- Wojciech M Zabolotny, PhD Institute of Electronic Systems Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology Warsaw University of Technology
