Dear Maintainer,

Recently I installed Debian testing (stretch) AMD64 in a Samsung R720H.

This laptop comes with a RTL8192E/RTL8192SE Wireless LAN Controller. As
described at:

As described, I have also installed the package "firmware-realtek":

The kernel module used is the staged r8192e_pci

The module loads, finds networks and connects to the one I have
configured with WPA-PSK.

However, when starting to use the network it goes really slow and quick
enough it gets stalled. The /var/log/syslog starts growing fast with
lots of bogus messages from the driver.

Rebooting doesn't help. Unloading the module and reloading it again
doesn't help either. The situation is easily reproducible: 100%.

I spent a lot of time looking for a solution to this problem, looking
for alternative drivers, etc. No solution.

The only tip I go was from an Ubuntu forum saying that the problem was
solved when moving from AMD64 to i386. I did that. Wiped the computer
and re-installed again with i386 as arch.

The problem is solved. Current working package:
linux-image-4.2.0-1-586
