When converting and splitting the kernel svn repository to git, I left
the 'people' directory alone.  Now I would like to move those files
that are still used to a git repository or repositories.

The following subdirectories exist:

* benh/
  - last commit: 2015
  - contains: miscellaneous scripts
* cts/
  - last commit: 2007
  - contains: kernel config files for individual m68k systems
* dannf/
  - last commit: 2009
  - contains: branch of linux-2.6 (2.6.30 with bnx2x firmware loading)
* fs/
  - last commit: 2007
  - contains:
    - branch of linux-2.6 (2.6.18 with Xen 3.1 patches)

- branch of tgt
* horms/
  - last commit: 2005
  - contains:
    - build scripts
    - notes on CVE fix status
* jurij/
  - last commit: 2006
  - contains:
    - ipw3945-daemon package
    - module packaging documentation,
    - firmware-position-statement.txt
* maks-guest/
  - last commit: 2007
  - contains: nothing
* micah/
  - last commit: 2005
  - contains: pending_CVE_requests
* tbm/
  - last commit: 2006
  - contains: compare-configs
* ukleinek/
  - last commit: 2012
  - contains: branch of linux-2.6 (3.0-rt)
* waldi/
  - last commit: 2015
  - contains:
    - several package branches
    - script for building from svn snapshots
    - kconfigeditor{,2} utilities

So far as I can, most of this is obsolete.

I've migrated my scripts to the kernel-team repository, initially under
subdirectory scripts/benh, and merged that branch to master.

I intend to do the same for kconfigeditor2, under subdirectory
utils/kconfigeditor2.  (The migrated history is currently on the
benh/kconfigeditor2 branch.)

Following this, I would make the svn repository entirely read-only.

Ben.

it's less confusing that way.
