I don't see any differences between 4.2.6-1 and 4.2.6-2 that relate to
the md driver.

Assuming you get a rescue shell in the initramfs:
- The kernel log will show what the symbol is; please send that line
  (or lines)
- Send the output of 'modinfo -Fvermagic md_mod'
