Hi Salvatore,

I've got an Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI motherboard, and with kernel
6.16.3 I've been seeing the system hang every now and then at boot, and
almost always at shutdown.

While waiting to hear back from the OP, I gave the patch a try myself.
After a few tests, it looks like the hangs are gone.
