Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-kernel@lists.debian.org, 1110780@bugs.debian.org, carnil@debian.org * Package name : udev-hid-bpf Version : 2.1.0-20240704 Upstream Contact: Benjamin Tissoires <benjamin.tissoires@gmail.com> * URL : https://libevdev.pages.freedesktop.org/udev-hid-bpf/ * License : GPL-2.0-only Programming Lang: C, Rust, Description : automatic HID-BPF loader based on udev events An automatic HID-BPF loader based on udev events. This repository aims to provide a simple way for users to write a HID-BPF program that fixes their device. udev-hid-bpf contains distinct components: - udev-hid-bpf the binary that loads HID-BPF programs - A set of HID-BPF programs (see the src/bpf directory) - Scaffolding to automate loading of HID-BPF programs via udev. Kernel-side documentation: https://docs.kernel.org/hid/hid-bpf.html I have no capacity to look into the feasibility of the packaging, but this would be the second part needed to make things as for #1110780 work out per se in Debian (maybe we cannot accomplish and the udev-hid-bpf part will be kept outside?). Regards, Salvatore
