Source: linux Severity: normal Hey. I guess this might be actually an issue in grub-common’s /etc/grub.d/10_linux, so please re-assign accordingly if so (I still thought kernel team should get a heads up). When I had 6.16.12+deb14 and 6.16.12+deb14+1 both installed, than it seems that grub menu considered the latter "older" and kept 6.16.12+deb14 as the "main" kernel. Cheers, Chris. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.16.12+deb14+1-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
