Source: firmware-nonfree Version: 20230625-2 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch This is the same bug as #1069571 (firmware-linux-free). The update-initramfs trigger is activated procedurally and in postinst only. Hence, removing a firmware package does not update the initramfs. I propose activating the trigger declaratively to have dpkg figure out when to activate. Helmut
