Hello, Thanks for confirming the new kernel has dropped support for this ethernet controller. This arises some questions, tough: 1. The chipset is not that old (?). It comes embedded on a Compaq Mini CQ10-520ES (netbook), bought circa mid' 2011. 2. As many users are not able to manually compile the driver, could you please reconsider your decision of dropping this chipset? Having an ethernet link available for a first Debian install (or whatever distribution) is a must under some restricted environments. 3. Can you please pinpoint the latest kernel version where this chipset was last supported? Thanks, -- Camaleón
