Dear Maintainer,


I tried to launch Libreoffice Writer by the desktop menu entry, nothing
happends. However, I successfully ran Calc, Impress and Draw.

Next, I opened a terminal and launched the "libreoffice" command.
Then only warning error I got was :

org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.a11y.Bus was not
provided by any .service files

Next the Libreoffice window appeared and I achieved to run Calc, Impress and
Draw. However, if I try to open a new Writer document, then all Libreoffice
window disappear.

The next time I'm running "libreoffice", a window proposes to restore the Calc,
Impress and Draw documents.

I can reproduce this bug always.

Shoudln't be related.

Do you have libreoffice-wiki-publisher installed? This could be it, LO trying to
instatiate it and as it's Java it's crashing since the kernel security update fixing
Stash Clash...

Yes, an actual backtrace...

So your memory exhausted.... Unsurprisingly for a i386. Which might have a tiny little amount of RAM.

Can you retry without -writer-dbgsym? Or if it doesn't help without -dbgsym at all?

If it's the stack clash kernel/Java bug, what you "should" get is something like:

I reproduced this crash by following a slightly different use case.

At first, I saved a few memory (the host has only 256MB RAM).

The NetworkManager service is always disabled on this host.
As root the following command :
systemctl stop rsyslog.service

Next as normal user, I terminated the nm-applet process in order to save memory in the openbox session.

As normal user, the following command :
libreoffice --backtrace

Next I didn't created new Draw, Impress and Calc documents as in previous use case. I directly attempted to launch writer by using the shortcut in left panel for creating a new Writer document.

Libreoffice crashed and I attached the backtrace.

Do you need more information before I remove the libreoffice-wiki-publisher package ?

Wait for Linux and/or the JDK to be fixed. Or use amd64...

FYI,
I removed the libreoffice-wiki-publisher package. Next I achieved to use Writer. However I experienced a crash when I tried to create a new LO Base file.
