Bug#1089495: Fails on startup, importing Python module "future"

I've imported the upstream patch removing the future module, but now it
uncovers an issue with src:fife, filed as #1089510.

(Probably python3-future needs to be re-packaged, the version 1.0 of this
package claims to be compatible with python3.12.)
