Dear Maintainer,

In Raspbian Buster, when running "aeolus -t" (text mode), a segmentation fault is generated.

This is the console output:

I compiled the package from latest sources from the author, but result is the same.

Running aeolus with the GUI (without "-t" flag) works normally.

Please report that as a bug in Raspbian.

I'll leave this Debian bugreport open, in case the maintainer in Debian
appreciates examining it closer...

#964703 — Bug#931810: aeolus: segfault on startup

FromBernhard Übelacker <bernhardu@mailbox.org>

SubjectBug#931810: aeolus: segfault on startup

Dear Maintainer,

> (On exit is another issue with the FILE structure
> in readline library, but saw it just on exit.)

I tried to follow why this crash on exit happens,
and found that this second issue is because aeolus
does a "fclose (stdin);" on purpose.

But libreadline is not prepared to that and raises this error.

Just removing that "fclose (stdin);" makes it
impossible to close aeolus.

Kind regards,
Bernhard
