Really not all is fine. With libevas-loaders I see many other icons that I've not seen before. But pavucontrol requires gnome-control-center-data package to be installed. % grep Icon /usr/share/applications/pavucontrol.desktop Icon=multimedia-volume-control there are a lot of other icon themes that provides multimedia-volume-control (adwaita-icon-theme for exmaple, which is installed on my system), but I see pavucontrol icon only with gnome-control-center-data installed. Really I'm not sure if this is an E bug. -- sergio.

You may need to change the icon theme that E is using: check the icon tab under Settings -> Look -> Application Theme. Ross

But should E automatically find missing icons in other installed > themes? I don't know for sure, I'm not that fmailiar with the FDO specs. From a quick glance at the Icon Lookup section of the spec, it sounds like such fallback is optional. https://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-latest.html Ross
