For the record, on ubuntu 26.04 (current lts) and 26.10 (current snapshot) that
do come with python 3.14 as the default, virtualbox (of the ubuntu repo) does
come with the correct dependency, the one on python 3.14, and no extra patches,
so I assume it is just a change in the control file and nothing more.
