Control: Severity 1108298 important
Control: title 1108298 FTBFS with symbol mismatch in Trixie

I shall probably add that the rebuild happened in testing, not unstable.

However, I reproduced it now without the +b1 of a binNMU in testing,
so this isn't purely because of the binNMU, it also happens in plain
Trixie.

This would make future security updates difficult, so I'm raising the
priority a bit. I attached a fiff of the toolchain packages and
general package versions between the builds in Debian buildds in
unstable and the build I did in testing/Trixie - I *think* the trigger
lies in these differences, but I'm not sure which one could have
triggered it.

Cheers,
Sven

I've just tried to repro this, and can report that building gensio
in both unstable and testing shows the same symbol file issues, but
the build continues for me. (On aarch64.)

The diff is:

There's only one r-dep in Debian, ser2net. Maybe this is fine for ser2net or
maybe not. CC'ing release for awareness.

Those symbols are template instantiations of std::vector and should be
marked as optional.

Cheers
