I am unable to duplicate this failure with a clean install of Debian
GNOME Trixie.

What desktop are you using?

Is this an upgrade or a recent new install of Debian?

Have you configured apt to not install recommends? (This isn't common
or recommended but some people do it.)

Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha

Hi,

I'm using GNOME. This is an upgrade, I'm tracking testing.

Recommended is enabled
```
$ apt-config dump | grep -i recommends
APT::Install-Recommends "true";
```
