Bastian, the build-dependency on gtk2 was still there in the previous version because libgimp2.0-dev depends on libgtk2.0-dev. See also apt show xsane Therefore, it should not be a blocker for this upload. Jörg, please include the debian/xsane.dirs and debian/xsane.install parts of the patch I submitted at https://bugs.debian.org/1088080 Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
