I think that I am hitting the "same" bug for mpt3sas driver on
bookworm 12.2 kernel during installation on bare metal machine.
The attached SAS disk is not seen on bookworm, but works fine on
Rockylinux8.

According to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1022126
it has been fixed for 5.10.178-1 and 6.1.20-1 but has not been
backported to the installation kernel of bookworm 12.2 (6.1.0-13).

Sorry, it seems like linux-image-6.1.0-13-amd64 is already including the fix I was referring to. Should I open a new issue for mpt3sas no detecing my SAS disk? I have tried today's netboot daily kernel, by connecting through the netconsole
and using mirror/suite=testing.
