Package: dhcpcd5 Unpacking dhcpcd5 (9.4.1-11) over (9.4.1-0.1) ... dpkg: warning: unable to delete old directory '/var/lib/dhcpcd': Directory not empty Just some years old /var/lib/dhcpcd/dhcpcd-*.lease /var/lib/dhcpcd/secret files. I don't know if I should just delete the directory manually.

I'm not even sure why you're seeing this. This is still the current directory used for storing leasses. It should not need to get deleted upon upgrade. Martin-Éric
