Note that I've tried upstream's tarball for a few weeks and couldn't
reproduce the issue with it.

So either the bug is specific to Debian or it has disappeared
(or I haven't tried long enough).

I'm now trying with Debian's package firefox 100.0-1.

In reply to#1102801
Control: found -1 100.0-1
Control: tags -1 upstream

as this may be the same bug as

  https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1640212

(when I mentioned missing CSS, this would be the same bug)
where non-Debian machines are affected.

However, I could reproduce the bug only with the Debian package.

Upstream bug 1640212 also says that this is related to the cache.

And possibly also related to non-working IPv6, but only after an
unexplained issue with IPv4.

and could reproduce it:

  https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1745150#c9

with logs.
