Hi!

In Ubuntu, we've noticed that when using OpenSSL 3.0, the autopkgtests
for this package systematically fail on new upstream revisions, needing
a package rebuild every time. This patch should address this issue
moving forward.

Thanks for considering the patch.

Simon

Thanks for the patch!

I have
- applied it in git
- made a cosmetical change to make it more perl-ish (or
  Test::More-ish) [0]
- tested it lightly

I'd rather wait for the upload of OpenSSL 3.x.x to unstable, because
before that a full test is rather cumbersome (the skipped tests are
in a 3.x.x-only branch, and setting this up in an experimental chroot
would require a rebuild of perl-openssl-defaults first etc.).

Cheers,
gregor

Forwarding to the bug as I apparently forgot first time around.

You'll get the hang :)

Makes sense, thanks.

I've updated the patch in our git repo from your Ubuntu debdiff, i.e.
added the Ubuntu-Bug field, so after an upload to Debian and a sync
to Ubuntu you should be able to drop any delta.

Cheers,
gregor

And uploaded to Debian/unstable, as the OpenSSL3 transition has
started here as well.
