Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Edward Betts <edward@4angle.com> X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-devel@lists.debian.org, debian-python@lists.debian.org * Package name : progressbar2 Version : 4.0.0 Upstream Author : Rick van Hattem (Wolph) <wolph@wol.ph> * URL : https://github.com/WoLpH/python-progressbar * License : BSD-3-clause Programming Lang: Python Description : Text progress bar library for Python A text progress bar is typically used to display the progress of a long running operation, providing a visual cue that processing is underway. . The ProgressBar class manages the current progress, and the format of the line is given by a number of widgets. A widget is an object that may display differently depending on the state of the progress bar. I plan to maintain this package as part of the Python modules team.

I was thinking about packaging 'grow', a file-based static site generator, progressbar2 is one of the dependencies. https://pypi.org/project/grow/ I've not looked at python3-progressbar. > > I plan to maintain this package as part of the Python modules team. > > this name is obsolete, it's now Debian Python Team Good catch. Thanks for pointing this out. -- Edward.
