I'm assuming here it is relating to the
https://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2021/06/msg00066.html report,
thus adjusting the found version to 5.10.38-1.

Mikhail, we have only litte information here to sensibly tackle the
problem.

When you boot 5.10.38-1 do you get any usefull information logged in
the logs? Can you attach those to the bug?

Please try to boot without quiet (and splash), do you get more
information printed and indication where it hangs?

Regards,
Salvatore

Yes that is somehow clear ;-)

Did you see my question below?

Is the system in such a state that you can get to those? (and if not
after a boot with the old kernel, do you find at least part of that
information swritten to the logs)?

Salvatore

Thanks for provinding those, much appreciated and it helps. So from
the boot logs this might be amdgpu related. Am I correct, you can
reach the host after bootup via a SSH login?

Would you be able to:

- Test directly upstream both 5.10.28, 5.10.40 (and 5.10.44 to be
  relased tomorrow)?
- If triggerable between 5.10.28 and 5.10.44: bisect to find the
  introducing upstream commit?

Some indication on how to build:

https://kernel-team.pages.debian.net/kernel-handbook/ch-common-tasks.html

and

https://wiki.debian.org/DebianKernel/GitBisect

Regards,
Salvatore
