Hi Sorry for the late reply. I had a freelance mission from April to August that did not leave me much free time (or energy). On Thu, 26 Mar 2020 10:38:38 -0500 Ryan Pavlik <ryan@ryanpavlik.com> wrote: > Recently, I have had cme edit dpkg stop working on my Buster system, which is mostly clean, > with some use of buster-backports. However, downgrading > (to 2.57~bpo10+1 at least) did not resolve it, so perhaps it was something unrelated. Lintian 2.57 brought a change to an API that broke cme. Long story short, libconfig-model-dpkg-perl >= 2.132 depends on lintian >= 2.57 And libconfig-model-dpkg-perl < 2.132 must use lintian < 2.57 Please get back to me if this is too inconvenient to backport cme and I'll suggest a patch to cope with this breakage in lintian API. HTH Dod
