Andrej replied to this bug within a day, which means that borgmatic
ceases to be a salvaging candidate.  He also made us both team members,
which means this package is no longer unmaintained.  Also, I don't think
it's ok to "thanks for adding me to the borg team…this package is now
DPT!"
