Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

     update to emacs-gtk 28.x (probably from 27.x)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

     I'm running a systemd --user emacs daemon, with the update to emacs 28.x
     it fails to start.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

     An emacs server should be started as a systemd --user service.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

     emacs fails to start and the systemd service unit timesout:

$ systemctl --user start emacs.service
Job for emacs.service failed because a timeout was exceeded.
See "systemctl --user status emacs.service" and "journalctl --user -xeu emacs.service" for details.
