I saw a "ddclient_3.9.1-4_source.changes REJECTED" email:

Looks like you figured it out. Thanks for uploading!

For any lurkers out there curious about the solution, you can pass -v<version> to dpkg-genchanges to get it to show more than just the latest entry:

   gbp buildpackage -v3.8.3-1.1
