tl;dr: meh ------------------------------ https://www.pcmag.com/news/avoid-the-trash-heap-15-great-uses-for-an-old-pc «You may be tempted to junk that ancient laptop or desktop, but if it was created any time in the last decade, you'd be surprised by how much life you can get out of it.» Allora: per non farvi perdere tempo, qua considerano "old" pc e portatili «created any time in the last decade»... 10 anni... Forse avrei dovuto mettere il tag [quasi OT] :D Altro inghippo (quasi ovvio): «[...] more RAM and a big new storage drive may benefit some (okay, probably all) of these projects. In many cases, the PC will require access to the internet and/or the ability to access software written to a USB flash drive to install on that old junker.» Riporto solo i titoli dei vari "progetti": - Experiment With New, Lighter OS - Make a NAS Home Server (nda: FreeNAS) - Create a Starter PC for Distant Family (nda: MSWin) - Hack Together an Anonymous PC - Fire Up a Hotspot - Serve Up Some Media (nda: kodi, plex) - Make a Guest or Kitchen PC (zorin OS) - Go Old-School Gaming - Make a Tablet (nda: si parte da un portatile) - Turn That PC Up to 11 (nda: da pc ad ampli per ghita (chitarra :D )) - Make Art (nda: ehm...) - Save it for Skype - Create Your Own Security Cam - Tear it Down to Build it Up - Contribute CPU Cycles (nda: calcolo distribuito) nel complesso... Meh :D CYA
