premessa: K3b è un software grafico di creazione CD e DVD che sfrutta 
una pletora di programmi sottostanti, i quali si possono eventualmente 
usare "a mano" (linea di comando)

uno di questi programmi è cdrecord, se cerchi in rete trovi la "man 
page", da dove risulta che uno dei parametri è

                feature is also present but the capacity  will  be
                reduced  to  86.66%  of the original capacity. For

dalla sezione di configurazione di K3b dovrebbe essere possibile 
impostare i parametri (ce ne sono a tonnellate) da usare con i software 
che sfrutta... quindi, forse, basta aggiungere qualche parametro (alla 
peggio c'è da sputare sangue con la linea di comando per farselo "a 
mano" :D )
