The information is out there. If you want to know how to create a new Usenet newsgroup, you must improve your researching. There is a very old saying on Usenet: "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for life." Ask Google, Wikipedia, whatever, or even ChatGPT. Be sure to keep your critical faculties engaged, there is misinformation out there as well as the good stuff. -- ^Ï^. Sn!pe, PTB, FIBS My pet rock Gordon just is.

Be glad it isn't as simple as pressing a button. If it were, we'd have

A new newsgroup with only the proponent in it is a very lonely place. -- ^Ï^. Sn!pe, PTB, FIBS My pet rock Gordon just is.

Ultimately, though, it would be Ray's decision to carry the group even if somebody did issue the command to create it. I've investigated how to do so but, frankly, the info I found was confusing and conflicting... Good luck!
