While the microcode itself has been dumped, where has information about
the microcode structure/interpretation been published?

It would help enormously in creating emulators.

Hello Chris,

I have written a number of VBC transputer emulators which run on the
microcode which I extracted circa. 2015 from the original T414, T425,
T800 and T805 devices. The latter two with additional FPU (again
micro-coded).

Check out my website here:
https://sites.google.com/site/transputeremulator/

As for details regarding the microcode internals. I have published on my
website the T425 microcode full listing and the complete column driver
details. Again, please see the following two webpages on my website for
details.

https://sites.google.com/site/transputeremulator/Home/t425-ucode-complete-listing-decoded

https://sites.google.com/site/transputeremulator/Home/t425-ucode-magic

Since the transputer microcode details appear to only be of interest to
a handful of people these days, I only plan to release microcode details
for the T425 Transputer. It makes for a good study case.

Regards

Gavin

Very impressive - years before Verilog.

Cheers, Andy!
