Being the "ecumenical" guy here and there, I must point that up to the 7.0 the "microsoft" basic was not much microsoft (back then, c= pays a small one-time royalty.... for unlimited installations. and in the end, millions of Vic and 64 was selled with their basic ROM and m$ don't see even a cent from copywrongs. Go figure, everyone can criticize justily the commodore manglement, but the unique fucking really big of M$ remain a priceless success in history of computer industry. OTOH, sinclair basic remains penalised by the redundancy in the storage of constants and variables (personally I think that the one-stroke keyword entry far offset the keyboard's limits, albeit sometimes I must open the keyboard mapping window in the emulator (OTOH, this feature will be really nice also for VICE; I also have issues in remembrering where are mapped the commodore's semigraphic chars) Best regards from Italy, dott.
