Nice Game!

Hmm, I don't think that an undo-function was designated in the first
place (basic rules 1961).

That's alright - it doesn't work properly anyway! It's actually
possible to (mis)use the undo function to get to positions that couldn't
be reached by forward moves only.

I like digital prawn's spectrum20 review, especially this part, which
is extremely true:

"If you look at the code, you'll likely be amazed at the depth of
abuse of the BASIC programming language. It's just totally insane.
I've never seen anything like it. Hundreds of lines manually setting
scores of meaningless numbered variables. "GO TO abuse" is rampant in
the extreme."

Wow, I didn't know that, it's strange, they didn't even tried to play
it I guess, or it was so famous for being crap, people want to buy it
out of curiousity :) (or they just want to bloat the game count on
compilation)

In my opinion, it could be the ultimate crap game, but there is a big
problem, the game is not playable. There is a delicate line between a
crap game and a poop, sqij falls a little bit into the shitty side.

Oh, the power house were infamous back in the day.
I don't think they produced a single NON crap game.

Has anybody entered a London 2012 game yet? That's surely prime

Advanced Britain Fail To Win Anything Simulator?

That could incorporate Eurovision, the Euros, Wimbledon and the
Olympics.

It would be a four multi-loader with each of these events (think Daley
Thompson, Matchday 2 and Matchpoint[1] meets Sing Star - although
it'll be more like Daley Thompson, Cantona Football, Pong and some
horrendous BEEP-a-long). Maybe we could call it Advanced 2012
Simulator and incorporate an End Of The World section too.

Actually it's quite a good idea. Shame I can't be bothered to write
it.

Chris
[1] That was the Spectrum tennis game, wasn't it?

I think you're being a little pessimistic. Britain had its best ever

interesting to see the games being sent this year are not made with basic (generally). I wonder will this 'improvement' change the face of cgc. For example, nathan's entry is very playable, so I'm not sure it's crap enough. Nevertheless, it's kind of crap. Rescuow is absolutely crap, really fit for this compo, like every other basic game. Ofcourse, slow execution should not a "crapness" factor, but the design itself. Snailympics is inbetween.

Anyway, we got a total of 13 games now.

I really lost track of new games, so I'm listing last 4 games submitted recently:

first Nathan's controversial entry "Shit on Sonny's Mouth (you know she likes it)":
http://cgc.zx.gen.tr/index.php?game=0711120516

and then totally "unoficial" as it says in the disclaimer, Usain Bolt's Olymic Dash by "Unsatisfactory" Chris:
http://cgc.zx.gen.tr/index.php?game=0805225612

Next, we got Weakly Tribson's Triathon by Angus Gulliver:

And ofcourse, you cannot run from another spectrum simulator, ZX Spectrum 48K Simulator 2012 by spud:
http://cgc.zx.gen.tr/index.php?game=0813202721

Finally! WE GOT A WINNER!

30th year's first winner is announced!

Remember, this sub-award was only for entries submitted before april 23. I'm sure every css member will be using his wallpaper to remind that you got to code more crap games!

Have a nice Sunday! Don't forget to design and make more Crap games! I need more!

Hello fellow css members,

As we are getting closer to the ending of the compo, it's time to announce the winning prize of this year.

This year's winner will get one of the 8bit from the home computer era,

a Commodore64 or a Cpc464 or a a Zx Spectrum 48k, all in working condition.

Winner will pick which one of them to take.

Also, as we are about to close the compo, can you please register and vote?
