Seems pretty accurate and well written.

Also bought myself a cool mug to celebrate:

Yay! Happy birthday ZX81!

Hey... wait a minute. That means I'm nearly 40. Oh, God. Now I'm
depressed. Thanks a bunch.

In six week only, German ZX-TEAM will celebrate this event at our 15th
annual ZX81 users meeting.

You are invited to participate from 15th until 17th of April 2011:
- personally in Mahlerts near Fulda in the Heart of Germany or
- virtually by watching the web-cam.

Yes, Brian, but that's just it: I'm young, and... cough, cough... fit,
and vibrant and energetic and... excuse me, I think I'll just have a
little sit-down here... full of energy. I can't be middle-aged yet.

"I didn't say there was nothing better," the King replied. "I said there was nothing like it."
Which Alice did not venture to deny.

Very nice. Did you ever write the follow-up, about the Speccy? Searching
in your blog, I couldn't find it...

It's mostly written, I just have to add some pics and do a final proof
check. I'll post something here when it's done.

In the article it says that the ZX Printer was a thermal printer when in
fact it was a spark printer: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spark_printer>.

If that's the biggest error they've made, they've done pretty well.
After the recent Telegraph article about the Elite relaunch [0], I was
reading this one bracing myself for the inevitable point where they
refer to it as a console, or reminisce about floppy discs, or just
completely confuse it with the Spectrum... and I was very pleasantly
surprised. Thumbs up for the Beeb, I say!

I was 14 in 81 when I first got a Z80 Sinclair computer.

PacMan game is contemporary <http://www.google.com/pacman/>
All these writings, the BBC one specially, reminds me a lot !

Is Sir Clive Sinclair still visible at Madame Tussaud's ?

I would have liked to meet him IRL, but it was easier from
Baker Street London, to go and visit the statue, some times ago ...
